Christ Anglican Church New Brighton PA

Christ Anglican Church in New Brighton Pennsylvania is a Church in the Anglican Diocese of Pittsburgh, and a member of the Anglican Church in North America (A.C.N.A.) Our worship is in the Anglo-Catholic tradition of Anglicanism, with a firm foundation in Bible based preaching and teaching, the three Creeds, (Apostles’, Nicene, and Athanasian) the two Sacraments ordained in the Bible by Jesus, (Holy Baptism and Holy Communion), and the five Sacramental Rites of Ordination, Confirmation, Holy Matrimony, Penance, and Final Unction.

We are a relational church in that we believe firmly in having a loving relationship with God, our Heavenly and Eternal Father, and with our neighbor as ourselves. Our neighbors include all of God’s glorious creation.

 Mission Statement:

The Mission of Christ Anglican Church is to share the timeless story of Salvation through Jesus Christ and to follow the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:18-20.

18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”    Matthew 28:18-20
